EnerMech has secured a significant pre-commissioning contract for the ONE GUYANA floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel. The contract, awarded by SBM Offshore, further strengthens EnerMech’s presence in the offshore oil and gas industry.
The contract, supporting ExxonMobil’s Stabroek Block development, underscores the critical role of pre-commissioning services in ensuring the efficiency and safety of FPSO operations. EnerMech will deploy its expertise to prepare the FPSO for full operational capability, ensuring that all systems function optimally before production begins.
EnerMech’s Pre-Commissioning Scope
EnerMech’s responsibilities in the pre-commissioning phase will include pipeline cleaning, pressure testing, nitrogen purging, and other key operations essential to preparing the FPSO’s systems for hydrocarbon production.
The company will leverage its advanced equipment and engineering capabilities to execute the contract efficiently. This includes specialized testing and verification procedures designed to mitigate risks and enhance the FPSO’s long-term operational performance.
The ONE GUYANA FPSO is a key component of ExxonMobil’s production strategy in Guyana, and EnerMech’s involvement underscores its reputation as a trusted service provider in the offshore sector.
ONE GUYANA FPSO Specifications
The ONE GUYANA FPSO is a cutting-edge vessel designed to support ExxonMobil’s offshore operations by processing and storing oil extracted from the Stabroek Block. Built with advanced technology, it has a production capacity of approximately 250,000 barrels of oil per day and a storage capacity of up to 2 million barrels.
The FPSO will be moored in deepwater, utilizing advanced turret mooring technology to ensure stability and efficiency in operations. With its high processing capacity, the ONE GUYANA FPSO is expected to play a crucial role in Guyana’s long-term energy strategy. Its deployment marks another milestone in the country’s rapid rise as a key player in the global oil and gas industry, reinforcing the significance of robust pre-commissioning work.
EnerMech has steadily expanded its footprint in Guyana, having previously supported multiple offshore projects in the region. The company’s expertise in pre-commissioning, maintenance, and operational support has positioned it as a trusted partner for major energy operators.
In addition to its work on the ONE GUYANA FPSO, EnerMech has been involved in other FPSO-related projects within the Stabroek Block, providing integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
