From manufacturing plants to energy sectors across the globe, Tritorc offers critical bolting, on-site machining, and pipeline services to a range of major industrial hubs. For almost three decades, Tritorc has combined engineering expertise with real-world service experience to deliver solutions tailored to industrial fieldwork demands. The company’s dual focus on manufacturing and on-site operations has bolstered its understanding of challenges in the field, enabling Tritorc to develop tools and systems that solve issues and align with evolving maintenance needs.
With expertise in controlled bolting, on-site machining, tube tools, processes and pipeline services, and other specialized engineering services, Tritorc has earned a

strong reputation among prestigious clients across the globe. As the company has grown, Tritorc has offered new services, including comprehensive solutions that support joint integrity, pipeline commissioning, and process equipment asset integrity, ensuring performance and safety in the most demand operational environments. Beyond oil and gas, Tritorc is also contributing to the energy transition by providing specialized tensioners for wind turbines.
Tritorc’s founder, Naresh Purswani, joins us to elaborate on the company’s evolution and further growth. “The organization was formed in 1989 as Tristar Equipment, and we originally started by manufacturing industrial tools from our base in Mumbai, India,” Naresh opens. “Our first product was impact sockets, and for five years, our primary operation was manufacturing and distributing impact sockets in the domestic Indian market. We quickly became known for our product quality and as a result, we started to explore export opportunities.
“Up until 2011, I operated the company alongside my business partner, but we parted amicably, and I continued managing the company and changed its name to Tritorc. In terms of exports, we secured a major contract in Dubai, with whom we maintained a strong relationship for over 15 years. This partnership provided consistency for Tritorc and enabled us to evolve and grow our manufacturing capabilities. Our export strategy remained at the forefront, and I spent a lot of time meeting manufacturers and operators in the oil and gas industry to understand their challenges and requirements.
“We became an authorized distributor of hydraulic products in the Middle East, and then in 2014, we established our presence in the US with a site in Houston, Texas,” he says. “Over the next five years or so, we focused on growing the hydraulic torque wrenches side of the business, as well as creating strong connections with our growing customer base.”
Today, Tritorc’s product portfolio includes an impressive range of hydraulic torque wrenches, impact sockets, on-site machining tools, tube tools for expansion, installation, removal, and cleaning, lifting tools, and pipe accessories. Beyond equipment, Tritorc also offers a range of services, from on-site controlled bolting and machining to retubing and pipeline services.
“With a vison to become a complete machining solutions provider, we hired technicians in the Middle East and started to offer on-site machining services in 2016,” Naresh explains. “We took a project-first approach by visiting the end user, international and national oil companies. Winning service contracts with Qatar Gas and Reliance Jamnagar was one of our biggest breakthroughs as I look back on the last ten years or so. We now offer scheduled predictive maintenance services across the globe, and added specialized engineering services, specifically live pipeline maintenance and repair operations, to our portfolio in 2023, followed by precommissioning and consultancy services in 2024.”
Reflecting on Tritorc’s growth, Naresh shares some key factors behind the company’s success. “Strategic partnerships have been key to our international growth,” he states. “In the Middle East, for instance, we partnered with a local contracting company to provide the necessary infrastructure for our growth. We replicated this model in other regions too, including in Saudi Arabia where we have a longstanding investor partnership. This model enables both parties to do what they do best; we bring the products and the engineering expertise, and they bring the local knowledge.
“Above everything else, our people are our power, and we’re fortunate to have some incredible people within our teams,” Naresh adds. “My daughter, Simran, also joined the business around two years ago; she has a fashion marketing background and an entrepreneurial spirit, so I invited her to join me and learn how to run the business. Similarly, we’re passionate about giving young people an opportunity, and it’s rewarding to mentor and guide them. Some of our people have even gone on to be powerful global figures!”
From its humble beginnings as a local tool manufacturer in Mumbai, Tritorc has evolved into a leading global partner in controlled bolting, on-site machining, and pipeline services. By combining technical innovation with long-term, local partnerships, Tritorc maintains its reputation for reliability and quality. Moving forward, Naresh shares how he plans to further strengthen the company’s position as an industrial maintenance solutions provider and manufacturer.
“Over the last six years, we’ve primarily operated as a service company, providing preventive and predictive maintenance to the oil and gas industry,” he shares. “However, our strategy for the next three-to-five years is to focus on production. We will enhance our manufacturing facilities and capabilities, as well as upgrading our policies and systems to ensure our internal processes can accommodate future growth. We’re implementing new technologies such as CNC machining to enhance our manufacturing process, and we’re exploring how AI can be integrated to drive further efficiency.
“We’re also open to acquisitions in Europe and Singapore if the right opportunities arise for us to continue our mission of taking Indian manufacturing to the world,” Naresh concludes. “‘India to world’ is our slogan, and we’re committed to becoming a well-known global player, bringing competitive advantages to our customers without compromising the quality we’ve become known for.”
